last post from Hancock

this is the last night we'll be here. Typical fashion that our place isn't packed up yet. But c'mon, that makes moving WAY more exciting. I'm lucky that my roommate and I agreed to throw/give away as much shit as possible. That's the way we roll.

Aight, back to sorting/packing.

I've been REALLY busy

So far this month I've logged 196 hours with Swipht alone. Needless to say I'm tired. Basically I have a week left. A week that includes moving to our new place in SW Portland. Time to go back across the river. The new place is really nice. AND it has free laundry. How cool is that?

My friend Britt is a math teacher at Wilsonville High School, so Friday I took the day off and spoke at a couple of classes. 1st one was pretty low energy on my part. At least the kids sat through a proof that the square root of 2 is irrational. The 2nd class went much better. The kids were more interested and I changed up the material a bit. The 3rd class I spoke at was the last class of the day. This being the last day before spring break. A couple of kids asked some good questions but they were ready to be done. It's all good. At least I had a day off!

I've been busy

therefore I haven't been posting. Or climbing all that much. Still hitting yoga twice a week.

Tuesday I ran into a friend from college. I didn't even know she had been living in PDX for the last 18 months or so. Hopefully we'll hang soon.

She Wants Revenge concert is tomorrow night (or technically tonight) and I'm stoked for that. Kelley got tix for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs today too. While I'm not a HUGE fan I do like their music, and it should be a fun show.

Flashed a v5 today too. And didn't work too much. All in all today was a pretty good day. Tomorrow? packing and laundry.

cool link for today... how to de-DRM your legally downloaded files with Nero and my favorite utility: Daemon Tools. Works and works well.
